Hot & Cold
Anti-Skid Surfacing can be installed using two methods, hot and cold.
Hot applied anti skid uses a heated thermoplastic binder which at normal air tempatures will cure and provide a nice skid resistant texture.
Cold applied anti skid is applied by firstly coating the road evenly using an MMA binder and then applying the aggregate on top.
